This shelf humorously incorporates the imagery of clouds into something as mundane as toilet paper, with obvious similarities between the two in their perceived weight, softness and colour. The grey of the concrete shelf underlines the shelf, resembling the shadow of a cloud but of course being in stark contrast to a cloud with its hard and heavy properties.

Bertrand Jayr designed two versions of his Cloud Toilet Paper Shelf, a small version (€98 / $123) which has a base five rolls wide, as well as a larger asymmetrical version (€123 / $155) which perhaps better resembles a natural cloud. Both concrete shelves are installed with invisible fixtures, as pictured below.
